October Car Wash @ Tuscola
Moose—Saturday, October 23 10am-1pm
K-Kids will hold a car wash to raise
money for future projects.
Supply Drive for Douglas County Animal
Shelter
K-Kids will sponsor a supply drive for
the local animal shelter.

November Raking
Leaves for Shut-ins in the Community—Saturday,
November 6 1-3pm
Students will volunteer on a Saturday
afternoon to help shut-ins in the community by doing fall
yard work (raking leaves, picking up sticks, etc.)
Paper Products Drive for SAM Pantry
K-Kids will sponsor a paper products
drive to help stock the SAM pantry.

December K-Kids in the Tuscola
Christmas Parade
Students are invited to ride/walk in the
annual parade with the Kiwanis Club.
Salvation Army Bell Ringers
Students will be asked to ring the bell
at local merchants for the Salvation Army.
Adopt-A-Family
K-Kids will help a less fortunate family
from Tuscola have a nice Christmas by supplying presents for
the family.
Christmas Caroling at Brookstone
K-Kids will go to Brookstone and sing
Christmas carols to the residents.
K-Kids will read with the
Kindergarten-2nd grade classes to promote reading in the
younger grades.
Wii Tournament
K-Kids will compete with the Kiwanis Club
adult members in a Wii Bowling Tournament.

February Food Drive for SAM
Pantry
K-Kids will sponsor a food drive to help
stock the SAM pantry.
Valentine’s for the Nursing Home
K-Kids will create valentines for the
nursing home residents.
K-Kids will sponsor a book swap in
celebration of National Library Month.
Penny Drive for ????
Students will raise money for a good
cause—ANY IDEAS????

April Earth Day Activities
K-Kids will help sponsor Earth Day
activities around the school.
Participate in Kiwanis One Day
K-Kids will help the Kiwanis Club with a
Saturday service project in and around Tuscola.

May North Ward Spring
Clean-up
K-Kids will clean up around North Ward.
Teacher Appreciation Week
K-Kids will host a week of activities to
thank the teachers of North Ward for all of their hard work
during American Education Week.
